Paddle Boarding on Okanagan Lake

Conditions on Okanagan Lake can change quickly.

Early mornings will often provide a more enjoyable paddling experience before afternoon wind, boat traffic and waves increase.

Before launching, check the weather and wind conditions, wear an appropriately fitted PFD or life jacket and bring the required safety equipment for your paddle.

If conditions don't look right, save the paddle for another day.

Before you head out, use our paddle board packing checklist to prepare for your lake day.
